From November 29, KOMIYAMA TOKYO will host Masato Sudo Solo Exhibition: DEKOTORA & RANSHO<\/i> on the mezzanine floor of the bookstore.<\/p>\n

This exhibition celebrates the release of the new book DEKOTORA<\/i> and features prints from Sudo\u2019s early works in the 1970s capturing the vibrant “dekotora” culture, alongside pieces from his later signature series of Japanese tattoo photography, RANSHO<\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The vivid film photographs of the “dekotora” culture, born among Japanese truck drivers in the 1970s, beautifully capture the romance and passion of life on the road. Each customized truck reflects the drivers\u2019 unique dedication, while Sudo\u2019s fervent gaze as a photographer creates a one-of-a-kind series.<\/p>\n
