パリのヨーロッパ写真美術館（MEP)で開催された「MoriyamaーTomatsu: Tokyo」展のために制作された作品集。森山大道作品集、東松照明作品集とテキストブックの全3冊で構成され、二人の作家の主要なテキスト翻訳と、MEP館長のサイモン・ベーカー氏の文章が掲載されています。
「MoriyamaーTomatsu: Tokyo」展は、生前の東松氏が森山氏に考案していた、お互いの撮る「東京」をコラボレーションさせる「二人展」の実現を目的としたもので、二人の４００点以上の作品が展示されています。
2020年6月開催予定が新型コロナウイルスの影響で遅れ、2021年5月19日~10月24日をもって歴史的な二人展は無事実現に至りました。

This is the catalogue for the exhibition of "MoriyamaーTomatsu: Tokyo" held at MEP in Paris. Catalogue consists of 3 books; Works by Shomei Tomatsu, Works by Daido Moriyama, and Textbook consists English/French translation of major essays by Tomatsu&Moriyama and text by Simon Baker, the director of the MEP. This exhibition aimed to realize the two-man exhibition suggested by Tomatsu, who passed away in 2012. Tomatsu's idea was "to take the photographs of "Tokyo" that each taken up to then, and combine them into a novel kind of exhibition." Even though this exhibition was postponed due to the COVID, from 19th May to 24th October 2021, two-man exhibition has realized at MEP with over 400 works by two.
