KOMIYAMA TOKYO Gにて、アーティストCOOKIEによる個展を開催いたします。
お笑いコンビ「野性爆弾」（吉本興業）として活躍する一方、画家として独自の世界観を創造するCOOKIE。
近未来のヒトをモチーフに描いた「この先人間」シリーズなどの奇怪なキャラクターは、見るものに語りかける “新言語” 的な絵画として唯一無二の作風を築いています。
2020年から「COOKIE」としてキャンバス作品を制作以降、初となる今回の個展では、新作を含め20点を超える作品を展示販売いたします。
COOKIEの圧倒的な世界観を、ぜひ会場でお楽しみくださいませ。

【COOKIE PROFILE】
滋賀県出身。吉本興業所属のお笑いコンビ「野性爆弾」くっきー！として活動し、ネタ作りからコントの小道具まですべて自身が手掛ける。
独自性の高い世界観が評価され、ニューヨークで開催する大規模なアートマーケット「ARTEXPO NEW YORK 2019」では、最も注目するアーティスト5人に選出。
2020年より、KOMIYAMA TOKYOで作品の取り扱いがスタート。アート作品の制作に加え、音楽、映像と多岐に渡り才能を発揮している。

We’re pleasure to announce the solo exhibition by an artist, COOKIE.
Wearing two hats as a successful comedian from the comic duo “Yasei Bakudan,” and an amusing painter, COOKIE creates surrealistic world of his own sensibility.
Strange and unique taste presented by the futuristic character in the painting series: “The Future Human” brings the “new language” of painting that establishes his firm style.
This exhibition remarks the first solo-exhibition since he started to name himself as a painter “ COOKIE” in 2020. Over 20 pieces of new artworks will be shown at KOMIYAMA TOKYO G, and we hope you all will come and enjoy COOKIE’s “cosmic” world of painting!

【COOKIE PROFILE】
Born in Shiga, Japan. Widely known as a comedian from the comic duo “Yasei Bakudan” developing comedy scripts and props all by himself. COOKIE’s self-taught art of unparalleled originality draws international attention being selected as one of “Five must-see artists from ARTEXPO New York” in 2019. Not only presenting series of paintings from KOMIYAMA TOKYO since 2020, he’s been expressing multiple talents in music and films.
